It has it's downsides, like any medication--there is no wonder drug. But the point is, they waged a war on physicians using repurposed drugs, including making those drugs illegal or prohibitively hard to come by, in order to push a vax-only solution. Now they are admitting the opposite is true.
Maybe you're right, but I'm just trying to imagine that marketing meeting.
"Hey guys, you know what will really sell our product? If we deride it in every news and media outlet, have celebrities ridicule it, threaten pharmacists and physicians for prescribing it or discussing it, have the regulatory agencies repeatedly emphasize how dangerous it is, and imply that people are selfish, backwoods, anti-scientific idiots for taking it. Meanwhile we praise vaccines as hand-delivered from the gods, and anyone who takes it as blessed and virtuous and privileged with access to every part of society. That will TRICK people into buying our product instead."
That, surely, must be the boldest marketing plan of all time.
Covid is our name for a set of symptoms, which we're calling a disease. Probably we're guilty of lumping too many other cold and flu-like illnesses under "covid" in our zeal to call everything "covid". I think a more accurate name for covid is probably "vascular endotheliitis".
I think what you're really asking is whether Sars-2, the virus, exists, as an entity. I don't think that's how science works. I think what we do is put forth a model, and that serves as our "best explanation" until a better one comes along. The best explanation of the illness we are calling "covid" (that I'm in possession of) is a lab-leaked bioweapon/microorganism/entity/whatever we're calling Sars-2. But I'm open to reason. Convince me there's a better model or explanation.
This post got me kicked off of Medium. More about that here: https://thefreethinker.substack.com/p/my-last-post-got-me-kicked-off-medium?s=w

When's this wave gonna crash?

Like AIDS. A set of symptoms of the treatment for something that doesn't exist.
I agree with Slanderman (I often do but he doesn't like that I have not - yet - swung a few Malone's way).
