When I was reading your experience, it was like I was retelling the same story..... frightening, really...I work at an elem. school and today was my first day back... when I asked some how their break was, ALL of them, told me how sick they or their families were over the holiday...some even went to emerg. for strep throat.....but they tell the story like it's a badge of honour..... I was sooo grumpy today because of those interactions...I am so done with their level of compliance, virtue signaling mixed in with arrogance.....and remember, they have no idea I am non-vaxxed... anywyay, thank you for your work..... your article, kind of made my day.... 🤗

Interesting, that's another angle I hadn't considered... that some people feel more significant because they are "sick", like a little attention-cookie.

100%...I see it like it's a badge of honour....at least at my work site.... also, the 'imagine how much worse it would have been had we not gotten vaccinated"....

That one really takes the cake.

I guess I'm just such a lucky gal that I haven't had more than a mild cold a couple of times since 2020 without the jab ... just a very very lucky gal.

Great article ~ and "attention-cookie" is definitely a keeper!

Thanks for such a great description of the mind virus.

Yes, my friend. You have decoded one of the greatest lies ever incrementally thrust upon humanity!

I was teaching a piano lesson in the living room today while another student waited at the nearby kitchen table for her lesson. My husband, just quietly passing through the area, noticed that the waiting student was trying *desperately* to hold back a couple of little coughs. She is only 8 but as a child of the CovAin't indoctrination, she knows that if she coughs, her regular school teachers (not me!) will alert her parents and then she'll get forcibly Schwabbed and fake-tested until she "tests" "positive," and will likely end up isolated for 7-10 days in her bedroom with a case of water bottles. Her medical professional parents will probably don goddamn hazmat suits before slipping trays of food inside her bedroom door and then spray fucking Lysol all around the closed door when the mission is completed, three or four times a day. Communication will occur via cell phone, of course. Trips to the bathroom for my adorable little student must be absolute hell, with the entire family probably leaving the house while she poops and pees (and barfs from the stress of it all) then flushes and scrubs her already-raw delicate little hands with poisons as she cries the entire time. Or maybe she's punished if she cries. My descriptions actually come from their disclosed stories, and none of them are even goofy enough to laugh about because they're all in-fucking-sane abuses.

Love you, my friend. Stay fabulous and as free as possible in this wayward wizard wilderness! We are amassing our tribe to end the death cult!

Wow, reading that and choking up just imagining what hell of abuse some children must have gone through, perpetrated by their own family members gone insane. And this is not even counting subjecting them to toxic gene-transmogrifying shots. Go ahead and cough, little girl--it's your body doing what it's supposed to, and it is wiser than an entire society of adults who betrayed and traumatized you, when they should have been shielding you from a world gone mad.

Likewise, Sharine! (I wrote LIFEwise, and I suppose that applies, too😊) Fabulous and free--I love it. Amen!

Take some vitamin C, go to sleep and call me in the morning. Humans don't work well without nutrition and rest. Don't do it... and you'll suffer with the sniffles!

I endeavor to sleep until my body-mind-spirit complex says it is time to rise and shine! That means 7 - 10 hours a day, depending on my energetic output prior to that!

Decades ago, when I was a lad, I remember rolling my eyes at the “contagion tracing” in my extended family. “You gave me your cold”. “It wasn’t MY cold, Janet gave me HER cold”. “But she got it from Jimmy, who got it from Grandpa, who got it from YOU, so it’s YOUR cold!” It was relentless and as meaningless as discussing the weather -- just something to talk about.

Gawd, yeah, these are infuriating conversations, and I've been in a few. Someone told me I "gave" them covid because I had symptoms first, and I said: "No, my immune system was just awake before yours."😆

Excellent post, James. I've noticed the same. Geesh, look how easy it is to introduce a mind-virus that makes one obsessed with viruses?

Sadly, those who would benefit most from this information, likely won't read it.

You did remind me though to bless my water - with gratitude and health - before drinking it. Thank you. (I regularly thank my body for its self-healing abilities and taking such good care of me. So far so good!)

Best to you.

And may those who really need to hear this message, find their way to this post.

Thank you, Kathleen. I too thank my body regularly (and sometimes apologize to it😏).

Sadly, the mind-virus seems to have achieved the level of automation with some people. Reminds me of Thoreau in Civil Disobedience when he discusses what type of people are thought of as "good citizens" and he says "wooden men can perhaps be manufactured that will serve the purpose as well."

Expand full comment

Oh, that's a brilliant line on good citizens.

Deep sigh. Often feel surrounded by 'wooden' humans. But then I also have this lovely SS community where I know many are aware of what's happening and feel the relief of that.

At a work meeting yesterday, I listened as folks lamented on the low uptake of the recent booster. I concentrated on not letting my jaw-drop while casually 'dropping' a comment, on how that makes perfect sense given it's risk/reward profile. No one responded. Ah well.

Here's to healthy bodies in the new year! Best.

Very interesting, Gary! I definitely do see family members that seem to pick up on and mimic each other's "sickness" behavior. I've only scanned so far, but I will have to give this a more thorough read. Thanks!

Before 2020 I was on a bag of tablets a month and a regular visitor to my doctor as 'symptoms' increased. After 2020 I took responsibility for myself. I gave up sugar and alcohol, eat unprocessed food, swim in the cold sea, walk and cycle and dance. I came off those tablets one by one and I gave up my addiction to the 'attention cookie' of visiting my doctor. I feel so WELL! I hereby apologise to my body for treating it like a broken machine and now stand in amazement that it has forgiven me so quickly!

HEALTH = Providential care by God the Father of us all.

When we abandon God we 1) increasingly live in fear, 2) do fearful things(we do reactionary things), 3) which isolate and strip us of our humanity, dignity, dehumanise us, etc.

EVIL = divide and conquer

Although it is seldom stated clearly - clarity is often not desirable - it is useful to define illness as what the individual is actually suffering fro;, disease as the medical diagnosis (if available); and sickness as the view of a community or community members. Sickness has always been viewed as contagious, as in "he's a sicko, stay away from him." If you have a bruise, it's an illness, but not a sickness - unless it's spontaneous. If the cause is mysterious or unknown, "stay away! I don't want to catch it! I don't want it to catch me!"

Expand full comment

Saying "there's something going around" is not new.

Everyone I know has used pretty much the same terms for the last 50+ years.

Expand full comment
author

Yes, the phrase is not new, but the automatic default to contagion-containment behavior it triggers is. Once upon an ago, the occurrence of mild symptoms like headaches and sniffles used to be a signal to rest, drink fluids, nourish with soup, vit C, i.e., to engage in sensible self-care (and to care for loved ones). Now the default is some kind of pandemic pageantry where we treat each other like lepers.

Expand full comment

Except sometimes sickness is caused by a virus and you should probably take action to prevent other people from catching it. North Americans often don't do this because the primary thing they might do - avoid the workplace - would financially imperil them. Isn't that something that should be considered if you're really thinking about this in a holistic way?

Okay, exaggerated case... let's say Bob is at work, sitting for extended hours, consuming crap food, chain-popping red bulls and percocets, getting up only for smoke breaks, and otherwise staring at a screen for eight hours a day and lo... he starts to get a headache. His immediate thought is: "Hmm, must be a virus. I should go home, I might be contagious." I'm guessing you see the problem.

Expand full comment

Does Bob really go home though? He's got bills to pay and no paid leave, so probably not. And what about the systems feeding him the bad food and nudging him towards the percos and cigarettes? What system liberates Bob? Will the free market save him?
