Yes! So well said! I have been trying for years to get the same idea across to friends and family. It seems that once a person self identity’s with a group or ideology they lose their ability to think for themselves. Its a trap that diminishes their ability to really think and perceive reality. All this binary us vs them thinking is just a giant mind fuck to divide and conquer us.
Finally, someone who gets it! Of course, people don't want to part with their ideologies or group identities because, since they identify with them, that would be akin to "suicide" in their minds. It takes a special effort, and a special mind, I think, to shed one's identity labels and think for oneself. But that's the mission, I guess. I mean, it's on the bannerhead :)
