The Spectacular Suicide of Traditional Media

The endless panicmongering will backfire and legacy media will die a well-deserved death. Good timing too, since my tolerance for bullshit is at an all-time low.

A couple of weeks ago I posted this:

I felt compelled to write about fear and how to overcome it. Maybe we all sensed what was coming next: covid has ceased to have any scare power over the public. Ergo, it must be time to re-up our fear subscription.

Enter a new Declaration of Emergency.

Of course, we’ve all known for months and months that the “Climate Emergency” would be the next chapter in the Permacrisis. (The announcement of “emergency” co-ordinated with the northern hemisphere’s hottest time of the year, naturally.)

Honestly, this is getting to be like playing ping pong against an opponent with no arms… a wee bit predictable.

You may have seen the Project Veritas video of the CNN director admitting that the network is just pushing one big sham after another:

Notice him struggling not to say the word we all know he’s thinking. “Our next… hmm, what’s the word?”

AGENDA, Charlie. The word you are looking for is AGENDA.

Of course, for us long-time media skeptics there’s nothing surprising here. (Except that Project Veritas could so skillfully earn the CNN director’s trust such that he would say these things out loud!)

But we all know this goes back a ways. Look at this clip from the Simpsons in 2010:

Yep, that was in 2010.

Significantly, the Simpsons episode was right on the heels of the WHO and Big Pharma being scandalized for creating a false pandemic panic, H1N1, whose mortality rate (like COVID) turned out to be about the same as seasonal flu… the difference being, then, once that information was out, the “pandemic” went away. Not all of the media was bought in 2009, and some news outlets still reported, you know… the news. Word got out to the public, and the “emergency” vanished.

Interesting how that works, isn’t it? When the people cease to fear… no more emergency.

Hmm.

So what followed, rightly, was a period of skepticism.

And even though the WHO was able to successfully carry off the sequel in 2020… there’s something different this time: they’ve been trying to get us to stay in the theater for twenty-eight months.

 After twenty-eight months of this “emergency” nonsense, people are all “emergencied” out.

Covid fatigue has set fully into the populace. It had an expiry date (hence Herr Klaus’s “narrow window of opportunity.” )

The populace are saturated. We cannot take any more panic-mongering.

Which puts us in a fantastic situation…

I believe this shift to “climate emergency” will backfire, and spectacularly so.

People will not buy it the way they bought Covidmania.

And so, we might be looking at the final, glorious death throes of traditional media, committing spectacular suicide.

Remember, when the people cease to fear, the “emergency” vanishes.

Everyone knows what the next “emergency” will imply: more lockdowns, more authoritarian controls, “No Drive” days, energy “rationing”, rolling blackouts, etc...

This will not be stood for by a populace that is already strained by record inflation, food prices and shortages, fuel prices, and a sagging economy. If you posture yourself as the hero imposing “climate lockdowns” on such a populace, they will not only not comply, they will laugh in your lying, posturing face.

The administration and their propaganda arm, the media, have overplayed their hand.

Endless panicmongering has created a jaded, skeptical public.

Rightly so.

They’ve unwittingly created millions of us who are tuned in to a globalist agenda to control every facet of our lives, down to what we own (or not), what we medicate ourselves with, what currency we trade in (or beg for favor for), where we may travel (or not), and what we may eat (or not).

The one thing the “covid emergency” had going for it (from the globalist tyrant’s perspective) was its fear-appeal to the elderly. They are the generation old enough to remember the polio scare, the horror of the iron lungs, and the “vaccine miracle” that supposedly saved them. And they are old enough to believe that traditional media dutifully reports “the facts”, as it more than likely did in their day.

But many of us have come to see the media for what it is: shadow puppets on the Cave wall, meant to titillate us, enthrall us, and keep us in fear of the next crisis.

And so many of us have turned from the cave and exited into the light of day.

Many more of us, I think, than the shadow puppet masters intended.

Make no mistake, there is a subdivision of people that are happy in the Cave, and will go on consuming fear. They will try to convince those who have exited the cave that they are crazy, and ignoring “reality.”

Personally, I’ve ceased to struggle against this.

Letter to My Karass

…made me aware of a liberating truth: our job is not to convince people that the shadow puppets are false. Our job is to stay out in the light. Let the thralls come out of the cave as they will. The more they see things like the Project Veritas video, perhaps they will.

And, this may surprise you: I say let the panicmongers go on selling endless emergencies, too. Their puppet shows are starting to become frantic, overwrought, and unconvincing. They are hastening their own demise.

They are creating more skeptics than you and I ever could.

We’ll be waiting outside the cave, in the light, when the self-liberated wish to join us.
